Rocky Point Woman Charged By Riverhead Police In Identity Theft Case

Rocky Point – The Riverhead Police Department had received a report from a Wading River resident who stated an unknown person had used his credit card without his permission.

The Riverhead Police Detective Division conducted an investigation and determined that Emily Mioducki allegedly used the victim’s credit card information to purchase gift cards and other assorted items from the Family Dollar General Store in Rocky Point that totaled $235.29.

Mioducki, 20, of Woodlawn Road, Rocky Point was taken into custody and charged with Identity Theft in the third degree. She was processed and released on a desk appearance ticket.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
