Two Men Arrest During Narcotics Search Warrant Execution In Medford

Medford – Suffolk County Police arrested two men and seized drugs, a loaded handgun and drug paraphernalia during the execution of a search warrant at a Medford home.
Detectives from the Narcotics Section, Sixth Squad, Criminal Intelligence and officers from the Sixth Precinct Gang Unit and Emergency Services Section executed a search warrant on Wilson Ave. at approximately 6:00 a.m.
There were four people in the home at the time of the search and two residents were arrested. Pshawn Smith, 42, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rdDegree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Leslie Harris, 24, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree.

During the search, a loaded Davis Industries .380 caliber automatic handgun, a quantity of cocaine, heroin and marijuana, cellphones, cash, scales, packaging materials and a surveillance system were seized.
The Brookhaven Town Building Department condemned the home and posted it as uninhabitable.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
