Missing East Patchogue Woman Prompts SCPD To Issue A Silver Alert
The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing East Patchogue woman who may suffer from the early stages of dementia.
Marie Merto, 61, of La Bonne Vie Drive, was last seen sleeping at her home on July 1st at approximately 7:00 a.m. Detectives believe she left in her tan 1997 Buick LeSabre with a New York license plate GAM 9224.
Merto is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and approximately 120 pounds. She has blue eyes, short brown hair and dentures.
Anyone with information on Merto’s whereabouts is asked to call Fifth Squad detectives at 631-854-8552 or call 911.
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
