Wanted For Identity Theft In Medford
Medford – Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Identity Theft Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who fraudulently cashed a check at a Medford bank this month.
A woman falsely identified herself and deposited a fraudulent check into a Mastic Beach woman’s account at TD Bank, located at 1806 Route 112, on August 16. The woman then withdrew $2,500 from the account.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
